St. Agnes Catholic Church
Shepherdstown, West Virginia
Architect:  Kerns Group
Liturgical Consultant:  Marchita Mauck

Clerestory window:  10ft. height by 40ft. width

In this eastward facing window, the community of St. Agnes requested a resurrection window. The central image is based on an azalea blossom opening, with repercussive waves in line and color echoing the petal forms of the opening flower. Just to the right of the image of Christ’s emergence is a round gray form symbolizing the opening of the tomb.
