Meditations on the moment of resurrection are rare in Christian art. In this focal point of a new chapel, Christ appears from the tomb and grows into renewed awareness and life. His three-fold figure takes the form of a tree, recalling the ancient promise of Isaiah-those who mourn will be called oaks of righteousness. |
